Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd then went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. She returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She took the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to take down McGill in third round TKO. The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina through her ground and pound tactics, resulting in the TKO second round victory. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first match she's had in a major way. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and her Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she took on Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
